About Currie's Tires

Currie's Tires provides tire repairs, tire services, and auto repairs to Norwalk, CT, and the surrounding areas.

Currie's Tires is a tire shop in Norwalk, Connecticut. It is listed at 599 West Ave, Norwalk, CT 06850, which places it among the local businesses of Norwalk that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by. Google also lists it under auto repair shop, which is worth knowing if you are comparing several options in the area.

Tire shops sell and install new tires, patch punctures, balance wheels and, at most locations, align the suspension. Prices are quoted per tire plus mounting, balancing, valve stems and a state disposal fee for the old set; many shops price-match and include free rotation and flat repair for the life of the tire. Used tire shops sell inspected take-offs for a fraction of the price of new ones, useful for an older car or a single replacement, but check the tread depth (4/32 inch or more) and the DOT date code, since rubber ages even on the shelf. Mobile tire services come to your driveway or the roadside, commercial shops handle semi, trailer, farm and off-road tires, and wheel shops repair and refinish bent or curb-scraped rims.

The business lists hours on 7 days of the week. Typical hours are 7 am–5 pm. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. Norwalk is in Connecticut, in the Northeast, where four distinct seasons shape local life: hot humid summers, snowy winters that can close businesses for a day, and a dense pattern of towns where walking, transit and street parking all matter. Getting around Norwalk is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Connecticut's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Nadar is a very rude and provides terrible customer service. As soon as I walked in he had an attitude. I had gone to this place to replace all 4 tires then went again because my tire sensors kept going off. My tires were well , problem was my sensors. Again I provided them with my funds for their service. Again I go back apparently I need new valves ok fine. But they failed to notice I had a nail in my tire? Then charge me to patch it. It was too much back and forth. Very disappointing. When I called in to speak with someone I spoke to Nadar he refused to give me the owners name and hung up the phone. Very unprofessional. Workers are kind, he is also very rude to them. I’ve noticed. It’s not hard to be a kind person.

I came in and they were kind at first to me, but they weren’t really kind to their workers and I got a nail in my tire so when I went to get a new tube, I came back and they first denied it. They came back again and they took the tire and the tube And the rim And has had it for two days hasn’t gotten any updates or anything and checked on it again today and they haven’t even touched it from where they put it last time even though they promised twice that they would have gotten it done

I have been coming to Curries in Norwalk for years. I have bought sets of tires for multiple vehicles in the past and have always been satisfied with their prices as well as their services. I recently had to go in due to a slow leak on one of my tires three weeks after purchasing four tires and they took very good care of me and plugged my tire for FREE. I love Curries and I will always highly recommend.

I'm a newbie at Currie Tires. I met Tim for the first time to discuss finding a set of oddball sized (extremely hard to find) DOT approved tires for a 1995 Kei Truck that I recently imported from Japan. My truck won't pass CT inspection without them! He miraculously found them IMMEDIATELY and gave me a very reasonable price to replace them... and FAST! Tim also managed to find a set of larger replacement "BLING" wheels and tires that are compatible with my little truck. These are also EXTREMELY difficult if not IMPOSSIBLE to try and order yourself out in cyberspace without MAJOR potential fitment issues! SOOO... Of course... I ordered those too! :-) I am... from here onwards... a dedicated Currie Tires customer... Amen
